At the end of every year search engine giant Google performs a huge task of sorting trillions of search queries to determine the Top 10 most searched and fastest rising terms during the year. As 2011 comes closer to its end, the Top 10 list has been revealed.

What mattered in 2011? Zeitgeist sorted billions of Google searches to capture the year’s 10 fastest-rising global queries and the rest of the spirit of 2011.
