4. Birgit Rausing - This Swedish art historian and philanthropist, in the year 2000 inherited billions from her husband, Gad Rausing after his death.
Birgit also inherited Tetra Laval, the packaging giant from her father in 1944. At 86, Birgit lives in Switzerland currently.
5. Savitri Jindal - Savitri Jindal, the world’s 44th richest woman is India’s richest woman. After the death of her husband, she inherited Jindal Steel and Power Limited Company and the billions along with it. She is 60 now and is also the member of Indian National Congress.
6. Abigail Johnson - An American businesswoman, Abigail Johnson is the President of Fidelity Investments Personal and Workplace Investing which she joined along with her father at the age of 25. She is touted be the successor of her father’s legacy.
7. Susanne Klatten - Susanne Klatten inherited her father’s 50.1% ownership in pharmaceutical as well chemicals manufacturer Altana. The 35th richest woman in the world, Susanne is the richest woman in Germany.
8. Iris Fontbona and Family - Iris and her family own the largest copper mine of the world, Antofagasta Minerals. Her son Jean Paul is the chairman, Iris inherited her fortune from her husband, Chilean billionaire Andronico Luksic
9. Jacqueline Mars - Jacqueline Mars is the daughter of Forrest Edward Mars, Sr. and granddaughter of Frank C. Mars, founders of American candy company Mars.
